World Relief
The goal of LCMS World Relief is to act as the instrument through which faithful and compassionate believers in Jesus Christ extend the mercy of a loving God to others. They seek to alleviate human suffering and elevate the human condition by responding to emergency and enabling struggling people to become self-sufficient. The mission of the Church through LCMS World Relief and Human Care is to reach out in mercy and compassion to those in need, in the clear name of Christ and His Gospel, according to the beautiful Lutheran confession of the faith.
